Alejandra Ricardo is a senior at the University of Notre Dame, double majoring in Political Science and Theology. While originally born in New Jersey, Alejandra grew up and went to school in the Dominican Republic before returning to the United States to attend the University of Notre Dame. On campus, she works at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as a Recruitment and Visitation Intern, and serves on the Executive Board of Notre Dame Right to Life Club as the Director of Education. Additionally, Alejandra is a Sorin Fellow for the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture and a Tocqueville Fellow for the Center for Citizenship and Constitutional Government. In the past, she has also interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic on two separate occasions. As a rising senior, she worked as a summer research assistant for Professor Nicole Garnett, and has remained in this role into her senior year. Possessing a keen interest in the role of religion in the political sphere, Alejandra aspires to attend law school after graduation.
